0.5% of Cold Water Fish Skin Gelatin (Teleostean Gelatin)
in 1X phosphate buffered saline - pH 7.4 with 0.1% Triton X-100 and 0.1% casein (optional)Reagents needed:
1 | ml Teleostein Gelatin ∼45% in ddH2O (Sigma Cat# G7765) |
0.5 | |
10 | ml 10X PBS |
0.1 | g Casein (Enzymatic Hydrolysate) *OPTIONAL* |
88.5 | ml ddH2O |
Directions:
1) Add 10 ml of 10X PBS to 88.5 ml of ddH2O.
2) Add 1 ml of Cold Water Fish Skin Gelatin (Teleostein Gelatin) ∼45% in ddH2O.
3) (OPTIONAL) Add 0.1 g of Casein
4) Add 0.5 ml of 20% Triton X-100 and mix.
5) Filter through a 0.45 μm filter.
6) Aliquot and freeze at -20 °C for long-term storage.
